eMobility Ecosystem Development in Belize

This project aimed to spearhead the development of an eMobility ecosystem in Belize in collaboration with Belize Electricity Limited (BEL). NTCS GreenBee developed a comprehensive strategy for BEL, detailing amongst others the required number of charging stations, optimal locations, and preferred types of charging systems.

By strategically aligning stakeholder interests, we have successfully laid the groundwork for a sustainable future in eMobility. Our efforts began with the establishment of a comprehensive roadmap and strategy, guiding every step of the process. We facilitated the procurement and installation of charging stations, ensuring that every detail met the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Additionally, we provided extensive training for our distribution and planning teams, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to support this innovative initiative. Our commitment to ongoing support ensures the long-term success and reliability of the charging network. Throughout the project, we achieved several significant milestones. We developed a detailed strategy and roadmap for eMobility infrastructure, setting a clear mandate for the utility company to lead the charging network. We mapped optimal locations for charging stations, conducted thorough cost-benefit analyses, and documented specifications to make informed procurement decisions. GreenBee also established an operations back-office, including a charging station management system, to streamline operations. To cap it off, we provided comprehensive training for 8 key team members, equipping them to maintain and expand the network effectively. GreenBee's contribution paved the way for the ignition of a growing eMobility ecosystem in Belize. “We thank our trusted partner NTCS GreenBee for their professional support in developing a strategy and roadmap toward a viable eMobility ecosystem in Belize.” Sean Fuller, General Manager at Belize Electricity Limited.
